GENERAL POLICIES
The advertiser agrees to advertise for the next annual publication of the Jackson Lake Magazine by the Jackson Lake Association, Inc. (the “Publisher”) Rates NOT UNDER CONTRACT may be revised upon 30 days' notice by the Publisher. All advertising submitted for publication is subject to and governed by the rates, conditions, standards, terms and policies contained in this rate card. No conditions printed or otherwise, appearing on agreements, orders, or copy instructions that conflict with the provision of the rate card, will be binding. All advertising ordered is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and may be edited or rejected at the discretion of the Publisher, at any time without notice or reason. Advertising agreements are executed between the advertiser and the Publisher with the express agreement that the advertiser shall use the minimum frequency and or revenue agreed upon. All ads cancelled after deadline will be charged at 100% of cost of the space. Advertiser and agency shall be jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the Publisher for advertising ordered by the agency. Invoices for advertising are due and payable upon receipt. The Publisher reserves the right to cancel the publication of the magazine if, in its sole discretion, advertising commitments are insufficient to cover production costs. In such event, any amounts paid by the Advertiser to the Publisher will be refunded in full, and the Advertiser agrees that Publisher shall have no further obligation or liability.
COPY POLICIES
All advertisements are accepted and published entirely on the representation that the advertiser is authorized to publish the contents and subject matter thereof, and it is neither unlawful nor violates the rights of any person. In consideration of the publication of advertisements, the advertiser will indemnify and save the Publisher harmless from and against any loss or expense arising out of the publication of such advertisements, including without limitation those resulting from claims or suits for violation of right of privacy, plagiarism or copyright infringement.
ARTWORK SUBMISSION
The Advertiser understands that if artwork creation or revision services are needed, the first two hours of artist’s time in creating a new or a revision of a previously submitted ad will be included in the price of the ad. Additional time will be billed at a cost of $60/hour. Advertiser agrees to receive a maximum of two artwork proofs at no charge, after which a fee of $120 per pair of proofs will be assessed. Furthermore, Advertiser agrees to pay for photography, illustrations or color scans performed by Jackson Lake Magazine, as well as any corrections or changes made to advertisement after signed approval of ad; such work will be billed to Advertiser at cost.
