JLA Quarterly Membership Meetings 2025

RAIN OR SHINE!!!
We're excited to announce that we're changing up our quarterly meetings. Instead of our traditional FFA  dinner meetings, we're introducing new, creative ways to bring our wonderful lake community together—both on and off the lake.  

The May Meeting will be a family-focused picnic with a brief meeting at Lloyd Shoals Park (also known as Georgia Power Park).

​11:30 am to 2:00 pm - Join us as we return to where it all started over 30 years ago for our next JLA Membership Meeting at the Pavilion in Lloyd Shoals Park. Look for the JLA Flags hanging around the pavilion.

What to Expect:
  • Short Business Meeting at Noon
  • Fun for the Whole Family – Members & Prospective Members Welcome!
  • Food Available for Purchase ​
Food: The Jackson Red Devil Football Booster Club will grill hot dogs and hamburgers. For $12, enjoy a meal complete with a bag of chips and a drink (water, Coke, or Sprite).
Free Ice Cream for dessert - JLA Annual Free Ice Cream Giveaway 

  • Free Face Painting by Katie Johnson of Katydid's Facepainting
  • Door Prizes: You may walk away with some JLA Swag from our store. 
  • Arrive by Boat or Car – Plenty of parking, boaters can anchor and shuttle each other to the dock.
  • JLA Initiatives on Display – Learn about water testing, Paddle & Ride the Rivers, membership opportunities, and more.

Georgia Power has given the green light for the event (please note: no alcohol is permitted).

Current Jackson Lake Association members can apply to exhibit their goods and services at the JLA Dinner Meetings. Display tables and time are available to network, display and sell to the community before the meeting.
